Margaret Christine McClusky Thibodeaux, 87, of Demopolis, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 18, 1927, in Demopolis to the late Horace Culford and Lena Mae Boatner McClusky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Culford and Lena Mae Boatner McClusky; husband, Edward L. Thibodeaux; brother, Gordon (Hilary) Riley McClusky; sisters, Dorothy Ganelle Boggess and Betty Kate Boozer; and niece, Sharon B. Goodman.

She is survived by her step-son, Donald A. Thibodeaux of Covington, La.; sister, Wilma Joyce McClusky of Demopolis; nieces, Dottye Lind of Tuscaloosa, Ganelle B. (Dan) Pitts of Cedar Bluff and Christine B. Clarke of Florence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
