Barry Wood Collins Sr., 82, of Demopolis, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1 at his residence.

He was born June 9, 1932, in Gallion to the late Van and Joy Thompson Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Joy Thompson Collins; wife, Velma Rose Hendricks; and son-in-law, Dr. richard M. Cagle.

He is survived by joss daughter, Marie Cagle of Mobile; sons, Woody (Joy) Collins of Demopolis, Roe Collins of Magnolia Springs and Tim (Angie) Collins of Linden; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Cagle and the Rev. David Cagle officiating. The family will receive friends at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel from 1-2:40 p.m. before the service. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be Mark Cagle, Van Scott Cagle, Christopher Collins, Marshall Collins, Wood Collins, Brad Collins, Roe Allen Collins and Stone Collins.
