Sweet Water tried to stick to the script, but it was a couple of big pass plays that secured a 28-6 Bulldog win in a physical battle with the Choctaw County Tigers.
With the win Sweet Water (5-3, 4-2) has secured a playoff spot and has a chance to finish third in 2A Region 1, while Choctaw County (4-4, 2-4) has been eliminated from postseason contention.
Sweet Water took the opening possession of the game all the way to Choctaw County’s 2-yard line before Jaylin Johnson fumble the ball stretching for a touchdown. The Tigers recovered in the shadow of their end zone.
