DHS tennis falls to Trinity

Abigail Hathcock stretches out to keep a rally alive in her singles match against Trinity Presbyterian High School Tuesday during a tennis match on the Demopolis High School campus.

The Demopolis High School girls’ tennis team hosted the Trinity Presbyterian High School Wildcats at the tennis complex on the DHS campus Tuesday, March 15.
The Trinity Wildcats came away victorious in the tennis match 9-0 sweeping in doubles and singles competion in the 4A/5A Sectional 2 contest.
Next on the schedule for the Lady Tigers as well as the boy’s tennis team will be another 4A/5A Sectional 2 matchup, this time on the road as both teams will travel to the state capitol to face Montgomery Catholic.
DHS Girl’s tennis now stand at 4-1 overall and 0-1 in sectional play.
Both teams will return home on April 7 to host Saint James High School.
