Edward Earl Pritchett

Edward Earl Pritchett, 81, of Linden died April 20, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Pritchett was born Nov. 27, 1934 in Linden. He was a retired paper mill worker and a retired firefighter with the Linden Volunteer Fire Department where he served for many years. He was also a member of Linden United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Pritchett of Linden; four sons, William M. (Pat) Pritchett, Michael E. (Terri) Pritchett, Woody E. (Jan) Pritchett, all of Linden, and James W. (Angie) Pritchett of Decatur, Alabama; one brother, Wallace L. Pritchett of Linden; and eight grandchildren, Michelle Pritchett, Kevin Pritchett, Matt Pritchett, Jimmy Pritchett, Reese Walker, Madison Walker, Daniel Pritchett, and Walker Pritchett.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronny Pritchett; parents, Matthew Evant Pritchett and Shellye B. Glass Pritchett, his brothers and sisters, Azaline Perkins, Toinette DeWitt, Tolitha Pritchett, Evelyn Wynne, C.K. “Toby” Pritchett, M.E. “Lil Ev” Pritchett, Jr., Armor Barron, Mary Elizabeth Ballow, and Henry McDaniel Pritchett.
Visitation will be held at Linden United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 24, from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m service time with Rev. Tony Antonelli officiating. Burial will be in the Linden Memorial Park in Linden.
