DHS, MA crown homecoming queens

Demopolis High School and Marengo Academy hosted homecomings last week with introductions of the homecoming courts and the crownings of queens during halftime of Friday night’s football games.
Ja’Kayla Bell was crowned Demopolis High School’s 2016 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the Tigers’ football game Friday night. Other members of the homecoming court were also introduced at halftime and included Aundria Murdock, freshman maid; Baleigh Holtzclaw, senior maid; Allison Polk, senior maid; Ashleigh Ivory, junior maid; Leah Hinton, freshman maid, Kamryn Harris, sophomore maid; Stevie Fields, sophomore maid; and India Woodard, junior maid.
Rebekah Antonelli was crowned the 2016 Marengo Academy homecoming queen by fellow senior Kimberly Parker during halftime of MA’s football contest Friday night. Rebekah was escorted by her father Tony Antonelli. Other members of the MA homecoming court for 2016 included sophomore maid Maci Nettles; senior Sandy Wilkinson; senior maid Macey Petrey; and junior maid Katherine Webber.
