Former Thomasville High School principal Leon Clark was asked to appear before the Demopolis board of education for a second interview this afternoon. After an interview and a tour of the high school campus, he signed a three-year contract and will join the school immediately. He replaces Dr. Isaac Espy, who left as principal of Demopolis High School last month.

The board thought it had filled the vacancy Tuesday night with the hire of Dr. Walter Davie; however, Davie informed the board Wednesday that he had changed his mind and would remain in Tuscaloosa.
