Chamber board inducts five new members

DEMOPOLIS The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce inducted five new members to its board of directors at a meeting held Tuesday at Napoleon’s Restaurant.
Joining the board were Annie Braxton of Braxton Day Care, Katie Echols of Robertson Banking Company, Mark Johnson of Naheola Credit Union, Roberta Lawson of Robertson Banking Company and Catherine Meador of Omni Sports.
The new members were given information about the Chamber, including its mission, its services, the functions of the board of directors and Chamber programs.
Members of the Chamber board of directors serve three-year terms. It is the policy-making body for the Chamber and represents the professional leadership of the community.
Other board members include board chair Ray Saliba, vice chair Walton Roberts, Diane Brooker, Jason Cannon, Rob Fleming, Valley Harrison, Trish McVay, Barbara Myers, Joe Parr, Jason Windham and Carl Wright.
