Coralie Eddins McAlpine, 77, of Demopolis, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at her residence.

Services were held at First Baptist Church with Rev. A.L. Courtney and Dr. Rex Kent officiating.

Burial was held at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy McAlpine, a daughter, Bobbye Barkley, and a grandson, William Barkley.

She is survived by a daughter, Katherine M. Ethridge of Demopolis; two sisters, Carolyn E. Drinkard of Prattville and Martha Seale Stafford of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Marc (Tracey) Ethridge, Allison Ethridge, David (Lisa) Barkley, Annette (Windy) Hill and Holt (Stephanie) Barkley; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke Ethridge, Renee Ethridge, Steve Ethridge, Keith Barkley, Austin Barkley, Amber Barkley, and Kaelyn Barkley.

Pallbearers were Morris Allen, Robert Hall, Mike McAlpine, Bo McAlpine, Gene Shirley and Jesse Langley.

Honorable pallbearers are Bayne Ethridge, Frank Cole, Alvin Stringfellow, Gordon Moore, Paul Perry, Rev. Herbert Hill, Searcy Baker, Bill y Pritchett, Mack Barkley, Bobby Joe Hall, Dr. Judy Travis and Dr. Charles Gross.
