Davis bullish on economic future of Demopolis

His comments came at a August 19 reception held in his honor at Robertson Banking Company.

One reason for that success he said was the political leadership in the area. The city is "blessed with some very talented, very capable elected officials who work well together.

If elected in November, Davis plans to open hub offices in Tuscaloosa and Selma and possibly a satellite office in Demopolis.

The staffing presence in the area will be five to seven members concentrating on issues in the Black Belt.

Town meetings will also be held in each county of the district each year. "People of Marengo County will feel served by my team," he said.
