Two men have been charged in a weekend shooting that sent a Gallion man to a Tuscaloosa hospital.

According to Sheriff Jesse Langley, Charles Jullian, 57, and Tommy Jullian, 34, both of 106 Starmount Road, have been arrested on assault first-degree charges. They are suspects in the shooting of Timothy Prisock of Rt. 1 Box 4 in Gallion.

Prisock was taken to Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis and was later transferred to DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Brad Fischer, a spokesman for DCH, confirmed that Prisock was admitted to DCH around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.

Upon arrival at the scene of the shooting in Saltwell, Langley said his deputies investigated the crime and arrested Charles Jullian around 4 a.m. on Sunday.

Deputies later found a weapon and then arrested Tommy Jullian on Monday.

Langley said his office is still investigating the case. However, he believes the fight and eventual shooting occurred after "some kind of domestic argument."

Langley, along with deputies Tommy Reese, Johnny Garner, Don Lewis and Lee Lawrence worked the case. "We’re still looking into some information," Langley said.

Charles Jullian has been released from the Marengo County Jail on $20,000 bond. Tommy Jullian’s bond has not been set yet, and he has not been released.
