Bethany ‘Beth" Luker Cannon, 60, of Linden, died Saturday, February 15, 2003, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Services were held Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at the O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Don Newton and Rev. Daniel Gandy officiating.
Burial was held in Linden Memorial Park under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cannon was born April 27, 1942 in Clarke County, Alabama and was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church in Linden.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Mason Cannon of Linden; a daughter, Teresa (Wondel) Fitzhugh of Birmingham; two sons, Keith (Sahe) Cannon of Monroeville and Steven Cannon of Birmingham; seven sisters, Hattie Nick of Pensacola, Fla., Nell Hoagland of Mobile, Nettie Martin and Mary Ann Nick of Montgomery, Mae Stanley of Mobile, Beulah Phillips of Thomasville and Mildred Milan of Mobile; three brothers, Richard Luker of Putnam, Ala., Hugh Luker of Myrtlewood and Paul Luker of Morvin, Ala.; two grandchildren, Mason Cannon of Monroeville amd Emily Fitzhugh of Birmingham.
Pallbearers were Richard Luker, Mike Luker, Rocky Phillips, Robert Cannon, Ricky Hill and Lee Mock.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Joy Sunday School Class of Forest Hill Baptist Church and the staff of DCI in Thomasville.
