Mary Louise Barkley

Mary Louise Barkley, 52, of Thomaston, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at her home.

Services were held Thursday, April 24, 2003, at the O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden.

Burial was held at Thomaston Cemetery with Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating and under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.

Miss Barkley attended Sardis Baptist Church. Mary was a "special" child of God and enriched the lives of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lee Barkley.

She is survived by a loving mother, Sammie Jean Barkley of Thomaston; sister, Martha (J.C.) Earnest of Berry; brothers, Michael (Cathy) Barkley of Greenville, S.C. and Gilbert (Kim) Barkley of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephews, Tom (Tracey) Barkley of Dahlonega, Ga., Chris Barkley of Lexington, Ky. and Joe Earnest of Berry, Ala.; nieces, Samantha Cahall of Bankston, Amanda (Michael) Frost of Clarksville, Tenn., Ashley Barkley of Greenville, S.C. and Susan Earnest of Berry; great-nephew, Trenton Smith of Bankston; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Active pallbearers were Mark Crocker, Lynn Howard Crocker, Rudy Parker, Reese Barkley, Stewart Norris and Roger Gunter.

Samuel Nelson Boyette

Linden

Samuel Nelson Boyette, 77, of Linden, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss.

Services were held Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Don Newton officiating.

Burial was held at Linden Memorial Park under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden.

Mr. Boyette was born March 13, 1926 in Brooklyn, Ala. He was a paper maker and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II and the Korean conflict.

He as a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Vaudria L. Hesiler Boyette of Linden; a son, James Edwin Boyette of Thomaston; a daughter, Linda Boyette Barnes of Demopolis; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Clifton Williams, Jonathan Boyette, Jamie Boyette, Warren Stokes, Pat Vice and Byron Vice.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the VFW and members of the Men’s Sunday School Class of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

Billie Joe Crane

Demopolis

Billie Joe Crane, 60, of Demopolis, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at this residence.

Services were held Friday, April 25, 2003, at Kidd-Robbins Chapel.

Burial was held in Demopolis Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

Kymberlee Lorine

Wilson

Greensboro

Kymberlee Lorine Wilson, 16 months, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at her residence.

Graveside services were held Friday, April 25, 2003, at Christian Valley Cemetery in Sumter County with Rev. Richard Lawrence officiating and under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

She was preceded in death by her uncles, Brad Arrington and Todd Wilson.

She is survived by her parents, Amanda Wilson and Wayne Arrington of Greensboro; a brother; an aunt, Angela Meggs of Greensboro; and all of her grandparents.

Pallbearers were Brandon Martin, Bill Miller, Daniel Wilson and Chris Meggs.
