Pauline Graf Davidson, 79, of Demopolis, died Monday, June 23, 2003, at Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 29, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church in Demopolis with Rev. Tommy Carr officiating.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Davidson of Demopolis, two sons, J. Scott Davidson of Pensacola, Fla., and Dennis L. Davidson of Demopolis, five grandsons, David D. Davidson of Demopolis, Brian S. Davidson of Las Vegas, Jeffrey P. Davidson of Tuscaloosa, Michael C. Davidson and Jayson S. Davidson, both of Pensacola, Fla. She also leaves two grandchildren, Madison Davidson and Jacob Davidson, both of Gallion.

Mrs. Davidson has one niece, Peggy G. Crotchett of Benham, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Demopolis Memorial Fund.

Thurman Dixon Gibbs

Demopolis

Thurman Dixon Gibbs, 70, of Linden, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, in a Birmingham hospital.

Services were held Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Gandy and Rev. David Hand officiating. Burial was held in New Octagon Cemetery in Linden with O’Bryant Funeral Home direting.

Survivors include wife Mary Ann Gibbs of Linden; mother Etta Gibbs of Linden; daughters Barbara Holden of Linden and Fay Squires of Sweet Water; step-son Miller Moore of Linden; step-daughters Marsha Cannon and Dawn Moore of Linden; brothers Melvin Gibbs of Linden, Leon Gibbs of Uniontown and Ronnie Gibbs of Linden; sister Jean Osburn of Linden; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Gibbs, wife Nell Gaddy Gibbs and son Glenn Gibbs.

Active pallbearers included Brian Glass, Jimmy Walters, Freddie Webb, Randy Gibbs, Wayne Gibbs and Jerry Osburn.

Honorary pallbearers included the Linden Police Department, Wing 200 Marengo Nursing Home personnel, Dr. Ronnie Chu, Dr. Farrell Mendelson, Dr. Christopher Jones, Princeton CICU physicians and staff, and Chaplain McCladdie of Princeton Pastoral Ministries.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Reese, 60, passed over June 24, 2003 at her home in Jacksonville, Fla., surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Reese is survived by her husband, Paul Reese; daughters, Stacey Walterman (VA) and Michaela Curtis (AL); sons-in-law, Lt. Jg. Derryk Walterman (VA) and Dr. Alex Curtis (AL); sisters, Nancy Alveraz (IN) and Sandy Hirsch (MI); grandchildren, Christina, Bradley, Matthew and Jonathon Curtis (AL) and Maghen, Trace and Derryk James (VA). Mrs. Reese was well-loved and will be missed dearly.
