Mary Jo Slahta of Louisville, KY and Robert Johnston Coker, Jr. of Demopolis, AL were married in a 2:30PM Nuptial Mass Saturday, May 15, 2004, in St. Leo Catholic Church, Demopolis, AL. Father Edwin Dill of Silver Springs, MD, formerly of Demopolis officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Daley of Louisville, KY; the late Virginia Miles Coker and the late Robert Johnson Coker, both of Demopolis, AL.

Jennifer Slahta of Louisville served her mother as maid of honor. Dr. Norbert Earl Perret, Jr. served the groom as best man. Ushers were William Henry Traeger, III, John Boyce Wallace, Mem Stewart Webb, and Thomas Alvin Williams.

A reception following the ceremony was held at the couple’s home, Hayden-Coker House.
