Judson College professor receives Doctor of Ministry degree

Dr. Dan Thornton, professor of English and chair of the Division of Humanities at Judson College, received his Doctor of Ministry degree on May 14 from the School of Theology at Sewanee University. His ministry project was entitled, “Clusters–Can They Survive?” Thornton also works as a minister in the Black Belt Episcopal Diocese, serving as priest in three churches in Perry and Dallas Counties. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama and did further graduate study at Rice University.
