Funeral services were Monday, May 17, 2004 at 11:00 at The First United Methodist Church in Demopolis, AL with Dr. Art Luckie officiating. Kidd Robbins Funeral Directors entrusted with the arrangements. Interment immediately followed in Riverside Cemetery in Demopolis, AL. Visitation was Sunday, May 16, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kidd Robbins Chapel in Demopolis, AL. Yarbrough is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Dukes Yarbrough. He is survived by two daughters, DeShay Crow of Pompano Beach, FL and Denise Drinkard, Demopolis, AL; one son, David A. Yarbrough, Jr., Demopolis, AL; a sister, Sarah Ann Pepper, Columbiana, AL; one brother, Raymond Yarbrough, Jr. Adamsville, AL, seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Marvin Ford, Joe Quinney, Billy Duke, Lane Casper, Ed Seaborn, and William Scott. Flowers or Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Charles Melvin Nichols, 75, Linden, AL died Friday, May 14, 2004 at Medical Center Blount, Oneonta, AL. Funeral services were Sunday, May 16, 2004 2:00PM at Forest Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Newton officiated with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements. Interment immediately followed in Linden Memorial Gardens. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife Mildred Marie Nichols, Linden, AL; a son Mike “Nick” Nichols, West Point, MS; two daughters Carol Nichols Turner, Birmingham, AL and Tina Nichols Corr, Oneota, AL; two brothers Perry Nichols, Ocala, FL,a nd Bob Nichols, Linden, AL; and one sister, Gloria Henkelman, Destin, FL, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by a brother, Leon Nichols. Pallbearers include Michael Nichols, Mark Russell, Billy Nichols, Larry Nichols, Keith Nichols, Eddie Nichols. Honorary Pallbearers were Members of the Senior Adult Mens’ Sunday School Class at Forest Hill Baptist Church and the members of St. Albans Masonic Lodge F&A M.
