The Demopolis High Tigers sent their biggest and best to Hoover Friday and Saturday for the Hoover High School Lineman Football Camp. Ten DHS lineman were among the first to venture to a lineman camp.

“This was the first time we’ve ever sent our linemen to camp,” DHS head coach Doug Goodwin said.

Unfortunately though, the Tigers have done all the camping they are able to do this summer. With Alabama High School Athletic Association prohibiting any Alabama school from attending more than one team camp a year.

Workouts will continue throughout the summer though, as the Tigers are working two days a week on strength and conditioning. The Tigers first practice is scheduled for August 2.
