Sally Farrar Harper of Louisville, MS, born November 7, 1907 passed at the age of 96 on June 29, 2004 at her residence. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 8:00am – 11:00am at the Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel, Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, 20044 at 1:00 pm at the Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Maples officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery, Noxubee County, MS. Serving as pallbearers are Cecil W. Farrar, Jr., Roy T. Bouler, Tony Stephens, Louis Taunton, Charlie McCool, Paul Randle Eaves, and Sidney Hillard.

Mrs. Harper was a retired Registered Nurse; Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce; Medical Records Librarian; Secretary of the American Cancer Society in Pensacola, FL; Member of Salem Methodist Church in Macon, MS.

She is preceded in death by her husband Russell T. Harper, parents Robert C. and Callie Riddle Farrar; sisters Janie F. Bouler, Nell F. White; brothers Robert M. Farrar and Cecil W. Farrar. Survivors include son Dr. Robert Farrar, Jr. and wife, Gene of Starkville, MS; grandchildren Susanne Farrar, Robert M. Farrar, III, and Melanie Farrar Wells.
