The Demopolis Sports-Plex in Demopolis, Alabama will serve as host site for the 2004 American Legion Seniors (ages 17-19) Baseball State Tournament July 29 through August 2. There will be a total of 8 teams competing for the state title including the local host team West Alabama Post 29. Games will begin Thursday at 10 am with 3 games to follow at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm. The tournament will follow the same schedule on Friday and Saturday. Games will begin play at 1 pm Sunday with the championship game scheduled to begin at 4 pm. All games will be 9 innings. Cost is only $4 per game (13 yrs and up, children 12 and under free) or a tournament pass can be purchased for only $10.

All participants will be welcomed at an opening banquet July 28 at the Demopolis Civic Center.
