Lloyd Evans Stone

Linden

Mr. Lloyd Evans Stone, age 77 of Linden passed on Sept. 6, 2004 at the Marengo Nursing Home.

Graveside services were held on Sept. 9, 2004 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Don Smith presiding.

Burial followed at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens cemetery in Marion.

Kidd-Robbins, of Demopolis were entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a lovely wife, Jean Crews Stone of

Linden, 1 daughter, Linda (Mack) Tucker of Demopolis, 2 grandchildren, Jessica (Joseph) Griffin of Tuscaloosa, and Kenneth M. Tucker Jr. of Charleston, SC.

He was a native of Marion and lived in Uniontown for many years.

He was a member of Uniontown Baptist Church and retired from the Perry County Highway Department.

Mary Frances Cook Whiddon

Demopolis

Mary Frances Cook Whiddon, age 72

of Demopolis, passed on Sept. 6, 2004 at her residence.

Funeral services were held at Kidd-Robbins Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Dr. Art Luckie and the Rev. Tommy Carr presiding.

Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Visitation was held on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Kidd Robbins Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex J. Whiddon JR., and her father William Shelley Cook Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, 2 daughters Lou W. Judd and Mary Shelley Whiddon both of Demopolis, 1 son, Alex J. Whiddon III of Gulf Breeze, Fla., her mother, Mary R. Cook of Demopolis, 5 grandchildren, Beth Kaeo, Denise Bailey, Sean Smith all of Demopolis, Kevin&Cameron Whiddon, both of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and 2 great-grandchildren, Gage Bailey and Charity Bailey, both of Demopolis.

She was a native of Dothan, and a resident of Demopolis for many years and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed working for the Bargain Box in Demopolis.

Pallbearers will be Sean Smith, Kevin Whiddon, Cameron Whiddon, Greg Dunn, Bill Culpepper, and Glenn Trotman.

Honorary pallbearers are Alex Brame, Rodney Allen, Frank Dunn, Charlie Cannon, Fred Hall, Mike Eubanks, Martin Bailey, Jimmy Brame, Joe Short, and Rusty Judd.
