The California vs. Southern Mississippi game, which was slated to be tomorrow night, has already been postponed and a makeup date will be announced sometime today.

According to ESPN.com, College Game Day will not be going to Auburn as the storm would prevent ESPN from building its set.

The crew will instead head to the Michigan State vs. Notre Dame game in East Lansing.

On Monday afternoon, Ivan was labeled as a Category 5 hurricane, with winds up to 160 mph.

Ivan could also postpone many of the high school football games slated for both Thursday and Friday night here in the Demopolis area.

Once the storm hits later today, we’ll have a greater understanding of what Ivan will do as far as postponing any sporting events.

But for now, we’re just left to sit and wait out the storm.

While we wait, let’s have a mixed drink and watch some SportsCenter.
