That fun day of the year when kids get to dress up is coming up this weekend.

Halloween has always been a time when the kids come out in droves, going door- to- door saying those infamous words: “Trick-or-Treat.”

This year Halloween falls on a Sunday. Many of the towns are going to be celebrating on Saturday rather than Sunday.

In Demopolis, the time set is 5 p.m.- 8: p.m. on Saturday. In York and Livingston, the day and the times are the same as Demopolis and the age limit is 13. Uniontown is also observing on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. but there were no age limits stated.

Greensboro and Eutaw officials were unaware of any changes for the observance.

Linden is observing Halloween on October 31. There are no set times or age limits, but the police will be vigilent in looking for those pulling “tricks,” city officials said.
