Tonight’s match up should be a fairly easy victory for the Eagles of Sumter Academy.

My prediction: Sumter Academy 42, WAP 16

Akron at Hale County

The Akron Rams head into tonight’s game against Hale County after a 63-0 loss to Sunshine.

The Hale County Wildcats, on the other hand, will be hosting tonight’s game after a 31-0 loss to Vincent.

Both teams enter tonight’s game after shutout losses and will be aiming to walk away with a victory.

My guess is that the Wildcats will beat out the Rams of Akron.

My prediction: Hale County 20, Akron 6

Greensboro at John Essex

The Greensboro Raiders hit the road to face John Essex tonight after a 24-12 victory over Greene County last week.

The John Essex Hornets, meanwhile, host tonight’s game after a 22-16 victory over A.L. Johnson.

My assumption is that the Hornets will again sting their opponent in a big victory tonight at R. Cook Stadium.

My prediction: John Essex 24, Greensboro 13

Marengo at A.L. Johnson

The Marengo Panthers will be on the road tonight to face A.L. Johnson after a 28-6 loss to J.U. Blacksher.

The A.L. Johnson Eagles, on the other hand, will host tonight’s game after losing to John Essex last week, 22-16.

I’m guessing the Eagles will soar to another win to close out the season.

My prediction: A.L. Johnson 32, Marengo 12

Coffeeville at Linden

The Coffeeville Panthers hit the road to face the Linden Patriots tonight to close out the season after a 29-0 win over J.F. Shields.

The Linden Patriots, meanwhile, will be the host of tonight’s affair after losing to Sweet Water last week, 54-20.

This game is tough to call, but the way things are looking, Linden will most likely end their season with a win.

My prediction: Linden 28, Coffeeville 22

Sunshine at Fruitdale

The Sunshine Tigers head out to face Fruitdale tonight after a 63-0 shutout victory over the Akron Rams last week.

The Fruitdale Pirates, on the other hand, will host tonight’s game after a 38-6 loss last week to Frisco City.

My guess is that the sun will keep shining for the Tigers of Sunshine, as they will most likely end their season with another victory.

My prediction: Sunshine 35, Fruitdale 14

Sweet Water at Gulf Shores

The Sweet Water Bulldogs, currently ranked No. 10 in the Class 1A poll, enter tonight’s game against Gulf Shores after a 54-20 win over the Linden Patriots last week on the road.

The Gulf Shores Dolphins, a Class 4A squad, will host tonight’s game after a 34-14 loss to Jackson.

Although the Dolphins are a 4A team, I believe the Bulldogs of Sweet Water will have enough bite to walk away with the win.

My prediction: Sweet Water 24, Gulf Shores 20

Francis Marion at

R.C. Hatch

The Francis Marion Rams will hit the road to face R.C. Hatch tonight after a 41-12 loss to Aliceville last week.

The R.C. Hatch Bobcats, meanwhile, enter tonight’s game as the host team after a 34-8 loss to Keith.

I’m assuming the 3A Rams will have enough power to win over the 2A Bobcats.

My prediction: Francis Marion 21, R.C. Hatch 8

Sumter County at Livingston

The Sumter County Wildcats will be on the road tonight to play Livingston after a 32-7 win over Northside.

The Livingston Cougars, on the other hand, will host tonight’s season finale after a 71-0 shutout loss against Demopolis last week.

This one is a toss-up.

My prediction: Livingston 8, Sumter County 6

Choctaw County at

Greene County

The Choctaw County Tigers hit the road to face Greene County tonight after a 55-14 loss to Thomasville.

The Greene County Tigers, meanwhile, enter tonight’s game as the host team after losing last week to Greensboro, 24-12.

This one is hard to call, but I’m going with the Tigers of Choctaw County coming away with the win.

My prediction: Choctaw County 21, Greensboro 15

Cornerstone Christian at MMI

The Cornerstone Christian Chargers head out to face Marion Military Institute tonight after a 22-21 loss to Central Christian Academy last week.

The MMI Tigers will be hosting tonight’s season finale after a 37-0 shutout victory over East Memorial last week.

Although MMI is coming off a victory, my guess is that the Chargers will walk away with the win tonight.

My prediction: Cornerstone Christian 28, MMI 14

Southern Academy at

Shelby Academy

The Southern Academy Cougars, currently ranked No. 3 in the AISA poll, enters tonight’s game after a 44-20 win over Pickens Academy last week.

The Shelby Academy Raiders, meanwhile, will host tonight’s game after beating WAP last week, 39-0.

Shelby Academy is currently ranked No. 8 in the AISA poll, so tonight’s match up should be a good one.

My assumption, however, is that Southern Academy will prove they have the stronger team with a win in tonight’s final game of the regular season.

My prediction: Southern Academy 48, Shelby Academy 16

Marengo Academy at Jackson Academy

The Marengo Academy Longhorns will hit the road to face Jackson Academy tonight after a 17-7 loss last week to Sumter Academy.

The Jackson Academy Eagles, on the other hand, will be hosting tonight’s game after a 49-14 loss to Faith Academy last week.

Although tonight’s affair will most likely be very close, I’m leaning towards the Eagles soaring away with the win.

My prediction: Jackson Academy 21, Marengo Academy 7
