Officers have put aside sleep, rest and relaxation to put a dent in the drug problem facing Marengo County.

So far, their efforts have netted a great deal of success. In the last two days the Sheriff’s Department has netted 19 arrests including 13 before sunrise Wednesday. The arrests were part of an ongoing effort to cripple drug traffic in the area.
