LINDEN &045;&045; While most families are decorating their homes and making their Christmas wish lists, a Linden family is mourning the loss of one of its family members.

Glenda Ann Webb of Linden died earlier this week, leaving six children ranging in age from 6 months to 15 years.

The cause of Webb’s death was unknown at presstime, but Thurman said she was a young woman.

The children, as expected, are having a hard time with the loss of their mother and the change in their family status, and Thurman said the Linden and surrounding communities want to ease their pain.

Abernathy Funeral Home said Jackson Funeral Home in Mobile was handling arrangements, so they did not have the necessary information either.

White said people could contact her as well.

Thurman said the funeral is set for sometime later this week, but he did not have information on the arrangements.
