Everette Wayne Hall

Greensboro

Everette Wayne Hall, 55, of Greensboro, passed on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 in Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dee McGuire and the Rev. Scott Blake officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel is in charge of all arrangements. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Virginia Hall of Greensboro; mother and stepfather, Mildred and Alton Foxhall of Linden; one son, James “Jimbo” Hall of Newbern; two sisters, Alice Barnette of Greensboro, and Sue Cannon of Sardis; two brothers, Fred Hall of Demopolis, and Pete Hall of Thomaston; and three grandchildren, Cory, Troy, and Clayton Hall of Newbern.

Pallbearers will be Pete Barnette, Robert Wiggins, Greg Breland, Paul Phillips, Randy Wilborn, Ronnie Lawson, Sammy Williams, and Willie Mauldin. Honorary pallbearers will be J.W. Kynard, Kynard Logging, members of Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church, and employees of Gulf States Paper Corporation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church Greensboro, AL 36744.

Mattie Belton

Forkland

Ms. Mattie Belton, 51, of Forkland, passed on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Larkin&Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Demopolis. The Rev. William M. Branch officiated.

Interment followed in Lloyd Chapel Cemetery in Forkland.

Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis were entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two children, Wanda F. Belton of Forkland, and Willie Belton of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; two brothers; Francis (Vera) Washington of Forkland, and Theodore (Debra) Belton of Birmingham; one sister, Shirley (Lorenzo) Taylor of Forkland; four aunts; three uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Henry Grayer, Sr.

Demopolis

Mr. Henry Grayer, Sr., 87, of Demopolis, passed on Dec. 6, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004 at noon at St. Paul Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Charlie Moore will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.

Gregory Crenshaw, Jr.

Boligee

Infant Gregory Crenshaw Jr., of Boligee, passed on Tuesday, Dec.

7, 2004 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services are incomplete and will be announced later by Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis.

Lewis Long Jr

Greensboro

Mr. Lewis Long Jr., 58, of Greensboro, beloved husband of Virginia Bell Long of Greensboro, passed on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the St. Matthew Watson Baptist Church in Boligee.

The Rev. James McDonald will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis are entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Patsy Daniels of Demopolis passed on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004 at her residence.
