And render your heart, And not your garments, And turn to the Lord your God.

Welcome to a Deacon Ordination Service to be held Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Demopolis, Rev. Terry Gosa is pastor, Sis. Clara M. Purse, church clerk.

Rev. James Dunn, pastor of Old Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis, will be the guest minister.

Everyone is invited to come out and share in this glorious occasion with us.

Congratulations go out to Mrs. Emma R. Pritchett.

A surprise birthday party was held for her Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. at Mr. G’s on Hwy 80 in Demopolis, given by Tiffany Mullen, Stan Jackson, and children.

It was a beautiful celebration and everyone had a beautiful time.

Emma received lots of beautiful gifts, etc.

Some of her friends that were present were Mrs. Emma Gibbs, Hollie White, Brelinder Sue Blevn, Cynthia Hogue, Dion Pritchett, Jo W. Jones, Hannah C. Scott, Lois Wilson, Sandy Wilson, Clara M. Purse, Willie M. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Vince Mullen and children, and others.

Rev. Mitchell R. Congress, pastor of the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Faunsdale was the honored guest.

He did the blessing for the dinner for Mrs. Pritchett.

Mrs. Pritchett is very active in the Eastern Star Baptist Church in Demopolis.

She is also an all around member and finance secretary of the church, and is very active in the community.

We love you Emma, hope you will have many, many more birthday parties.
