Elizabeth Banks McGhee

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Banks McGhee, age 78 of Eutaw will held at graveside Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in Grassdale Cemetery in Eutaw.

Rev. Daniel Thornton will officiate.

Kidd Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McGee passed Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at her residence.

Survivors include two sons, Willis (Kathy) McGee and Jack (Jan) McGee, both of Eutaw, six grandchildren, Kristen McGee of Birmingham, Alston McGee of Eutaw, Josh (Laura) Case of Geneva, Switzerland, Jessica Case of Tuscaloosa, Jared (Selena) Case of Haleyville, and Jake Case of Tuscaloosa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sidney McGee, JR., son, James Sidney “Jimmy” McGee III, parents, Willis Alston Banks and Emily Rhett Banks.

Mrs. McGee was born in Tennessee and resided in Eutaw for 75 years.

She was a member of Stephens Episcopal Church in Eutaw.

Deacon Eli Collier, Sr., age 82 of Demopolis passed January 17, 2005 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at the Moscow Baptist Church, Hwy. 80 West Demopolis.

Rev. John Watkins will officiate.

Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel.
