Eutaw Police Report

The following incident/offense reports were recorded by the Eutaw Police Department:

Jan. 10

A complaint was filed at Churches Chicken for criminal trespass. No arrests were made

and no warrants were issued.

Jan. 12

A complaint was filed at Family Dollar for criminal trespass. No arrests were made and no warrants were issued.

The following arrests were made:

Jan. 11

Randy Sealt, 27, of Branch Heights was arrested on charges of robbery, first degree.

Jan. 13

Santonio Byrd, 27, of Eutaw, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and assault third degree.

Greene County Sheriff’s Report

The following incident/offense reports were recorded by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 28

A complaint was filed in Boligee for theft of property. A black and white Hereford cow was reported stolen.

Jan. 11

A complaint was filed for theft of property on Candle Lane in Boligee. A 1994 Chevrolet truck, valued at $8,000, was reported stolen.

Jan. 13

A 1990 Cadillac, which had been reported stolen out of Tuscaloosa, was recovered on county road 183.

Jan. 14

A 1990 Ford Explorer, which had been reported stolen out of Tuscaloosa, was recovered on a Greene County logging road.

Jan. 16

A complaint was filed at Speedee Mart for theft of property. Two 18 packs of Budweiser were reported stolen.

The following arrests were made:

Jan. 11

Derrick Newell, 20, was arrested on charges of failure to appear for driving while suspended.

Rodney Gibbs, 30, of Eutaw, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, third degree and escape.

Jan. 13

Santonio Byrd , 27, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and assault, third degree.

Linden Police Report

The following arrests were made by the Linden Police Department:

Hasan Davis, 28, of Nashville, Tenn. was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with receiving stolen property, first-degree.

He was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup that was stolen in Nashville.

He is also wanted in Georgia for parole violations.

Officer Watters and Sgt. McClure made the arrest.

Terry M. Megginson, Jr., 21, of Linden was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with contempt of court.

Officer Roberts made the arrest.

Clifford Raby, 49, of Safford was arrested Jan. 13 on a county warrant for contempt of court.

Officer Huckabee and Deputy Leonard made the arrest.

Monica L. Kirksey, 39, of Linden was arrested Jan. 14 and charged with three counts of forgery, second-degree and two counts of failure to appear.

Chief Laduron made the arrest.

Rubicel Ramirez, 22, of Linden was arrested and charged with public intoxication and theft, third-degree.

Officer Watters made the arrest.

The following incident/offense reports were recorded:

Yeacarah Bruno of Linden reported on Jan. 11 that she had been receiving some harassing phone calls.

Officer Watters took the report.

Laquita Adams of Linden reported on Jan. 15 that she had received some harassing phone calls.

Officer Huckabee took the report.

The manager at the Smoke&Chew on South Main reported on Jan. 15 that someone had broken into the store.

Officer Roberts took the report.

The T & D Hair Express on S. Main reported on Jan. 16 that someone had broken into the building.

Officer Huckabee took the report.

Sunshine Cleaners on S. Main reported on Jan. 17 that someone had broken a window.

No property was reported missing.

Officer Roberts took the report.

Irene Jackson reported on Jan. 17 that she was missing some medication.

Valerie Robinson of Linden reported on Jan. 17 that someone had taken a cell phone from her vehicle.
