Marion Police Department Reports

March 6

Discharging a Firearm into a building and Reckless Endangerment occurring between 2 and 2:35 a.m. were reported at a convenience store off Highway 45 S in Marion.

Lee Bernard Hogue, 23, of Greensboro was arrested in the above incident and charged with Endangering the welfare of a child.

March 9

Reckless Endangerment occurring between 6 and 6:20 p.m. was reported at Lincoln Heights.

Reckless Endangerment and Discharging a Firearm into a Building occurring between 6:23 and 7 p.m. were reported in Lincoln Heights.

March 10

Disorderly Conduct and Menacing occurring between 3 and 3:35 p.m. was reported in a Thompson St parking lot.

Breaking and Entering a Vehicle occurring between 12:45 and 1 p.m. was reported at MMI. The vehicle’s trunk was damaged.

Albert Benjamin Shelton, 32, was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

March 12

Latasha Brooks, 24, and Sharhonda Brooks, 20, both of Tuscaloosa County were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Tameka White, 24, of Selma was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Assault occurring between 3 and 3:12 a.m. was reported at a residence on Jefferson St.

Disorderly Conduct occurring between 2 and 2:20 a.m. was reported at the Paradise Lounge.

Andre H. Breedlove, 29, of Marion was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence.

March 13

Two complaints of assault occurring between 7 and 7:45 p.m. in a Thompson St parking lot were reported.

March 14

Criminal Mischief occurring between 11:15 and 11:40 p.m. was reported at Colonial Manor Apts. Front door moulding and a dead-bolt lock totaling $135 in value were damaged.

Alfred Brooks, 19,

birthplace unknown, was arrested and charged with Harassment.

March 15

Theft of Property and Burglary occurring between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. were reported at a residence on W Cornel St. A 27″ color TV valued at $189 and a stereo system valued at $65 were reported stolen.

Assault occurring between 11:45 and midnight was reported at the Paradise Lounge.

Breaking and Entering a Vehicle occurring between 9:10 p.m. and 6:10 a.m. was reported on W Green St. A Panasonic CD player valued at $250 was reported stolen.

March 16

Reckless Endangerment occurring during the evening of the 16th was reported at a residence on Highway 5 N.

Hale County Sheriff’s Reports

March 4

Theft of Property and Burglary occurring between 6:30 p.m. on March 1 and 1:30 p.m. March 4 were reported at a residence on County Rd 42 near Stewart. Six firearms including an antique shotgun, a compound bow with accessories, a digital camera, a 4 1/2″ angle grinder,

battery-powered hand tool set, a Compaq laptop computer,

a PlayStation2 and four games, a Delphi X-M radio home system, several items of jewelry including a 1 ct. diamond pendant, and a 13″ TV/VCR combo were reported stolen. The rear door to the residence was damaged. The goods and damages totaled $8632 in value.

March 10

Anthony DeWayne Jackson, 28, of Demopolis was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support.

Timothy Lloyd McCarson, 19, was arrested and charged with first-degree Receiving Stolen Property.

Tammy Sanders, 36, of Greensboro was arrested and charged with four counts of Negotiating a Worthless Non-negotiable Instrument.

Darrell Joemakia Skipper, 28, of Greensboro was arrested and charged with third-degree Assault.

March 11

James Martin, 21, of Greensboro was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree Theft of Property, third-degree Burglary, and third-degree Criminal Mischief.

Reckless Endangerment occurring at 11:45 p.m. was reported on County Rd 85.

Burglary and Theft of Property occurring between October 4 and November 1 of 2004 was reported on Highway 69 south of Moundville. A 5×8 trailer, a Skil saw, and a mitre saw totaling $861 in value were reported stolen.

March 12

Theft of Property occurring between 1 and 3:30 p.m. was reported on Highway 25 south of Greensboro. A green dune buggy was reported stolen.

March 13

George Cook, 50, of Moundville, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument and third-degree Theft of Property.

Marvin Lee Davis, 34, of Akron was arrested and charged with third-degree Domestic Violence.

Domestic Violence occurring between 2 and 3:30 a.m. was reported at a residence on Highway 60.

March 14

William Rufus Hill, 31, of Cottondale was arrested and charged with second-degree Receiving Stolen Property and first-degree Receiving Stolen Property.

Criminal Mischief and Theft of Property occurring at 10 p.m. was reported on County Rd 66 near Faunsdale. A license plate valued at 54.65 was reported stolen and two tires from a Nissan Maxima valued at $100 were damaged.

A Marion woman reported the loss of a license plate. The time of loss was unknown.

The loss of a license plate receipt and decal between 8 a.m. February 14 and 4 p.m. February 31 was reported.

March 15

Harassing Communication occurring between 8 and 9 p.m. was reported at Cherokee Apartments near Akron.

March 16

Theft of Property was reported at a county milling company. A 1996 goose-neck EconoTrailer with dovetail valued at $2900 was reported stolen.

Criminal Mischief occurring at 11:30 a.m. was reported. Damages totaling $450 were reported to a vehicle’s windshield and hood.

Perry County Sheriff’s Reports

March 11

David Lee Norfleet, of unrecorded age or birthplace, was arrested and charged with violating the terms of his probation.

Emerson Wright, 19, of Greensboro, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespassing.

March 12

Standly White, 49, of Perry County was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

March 15

Monica Elmore, 34, of Marion, was arrested and charged with Negotiating a Worthless Non-Negotiable Instrument.

March 19

Lenny Turner, 31, of Uniontown was arrested and charged with Negotiating a Worthless Negotiable Instrument.

Tristan Harris, 18, of Selma, was arrested and charged with Harassment.

Burglary in the third degree occurring between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. was reported on Route 2 near Uniontown. A Sony SU-43 HTS valued at $24 was reported stolen.

March 21

Illegal dumping of trash occurring between March 1 and 21 was reported inTownship 21 Section 11 Range 6 East.

March 22

Burglary and Theft of Property occurring between 12 a.m. March 21 and 2 p.m. March 22 was reported on Route 2. Two sets of china, four dinette chairs, a 19″ Magnavox TV, a VCR, a Skil saw, an electric grill, and various linens were reported stolen.

March 23

Criminal Mischief occurring between 3:30 and 4 p.m. was reported on Route 2 near Uniontown. Two 14″ tires were damaged.

March 24

Jason A. Cook, 22, of Selma was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and running a stop sign.
