Neither Essex nor Perry was wearing safety belts.

Alabama State Troopers and Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene along with two ambulances. The reports from the accident are preliminary reports as troopers are still investigating the accident.

Law enforcement officers were still at the scene late Tuesday afternoon investigating the scene. More information is expected to be available soon.
