Relay for Life sees strong participation

Each year the Marengo County Relay for Life has a wonderful response from industries and individuals forming teams to raise money for the cause. This year has been no different as 21 teams threw their hat into the program.

On Friday each team will make their way to the Demopolis Sportsplex to pledge their support for Relay for Life and the American Cancer society. This years participants in the Marengo County Relay for Life will include:

Comfort Care Hospice, Preferred Medical Services, Demopolis High School, Curves and F&F Drugs, The Demopolis Times, Quest Club, Gulf States, Robertson Bank, Foster Farms, Greene County Steam Plant, Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home, Demopolis Middle School, Wal-Mart, River city Bike Association, U.S. Jones Elementary, I-Stop Building Supply, Suttles Truck Leasing, Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital, Regions Bank and Al Muquit Shrine Temple.
