Preparing for a new season and under a new director, the Demopolis Singers community chorus held its first rehearsal Monday, September 12.

Director Johnny Galloway said openings for new voices are still available through the end of the month.

Anyone who enjoys singing and the friendship of others who like to sing are invited to attend rehearsals at 7 p.m. on Mondays, September 19 and 26, in the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish House on North Main Avenue.

“You don’t have to have any singing background, simply enjoy singing,” said Galloway.

The Demopolis Singers plan two programs during the year.

Members are preparing now for two concerts during Christmas on the River.
