Stewart-Baldwin

Mr. and Mrs. W. Ralph Cothran Jr. of Demopolis announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooks Annette Stewart, to Robert Marshall Baldwin of Prattville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Baldwin of York.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of Mr. Patrick Stewart of Las Vegas, Nev., and the granddaughter of Ms. Mae McPherson Johnson of Demopolis and the late John McPherson, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. W. Ralph Cothran Sr. of Greensboro. She is the great-granddaughter of Ms. Ella Cothran of Greensboro and Ms. Katherine Thom of Hoover. She is employed at The Gold Mine in Demopolis.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Farmer of York and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hardin Baldwin of Aliceville. He is employed by Rayco Industries in Selma.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 12 at 4:30 p.m. on the back terrace of the Foscue House in Demopolis. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. All friends and family are invited to attend.
