The Sweet Water Bulldogs begin the drive to seek their sixth state championship tomorrow. They last claimed the honors in 2004. Legendary coach Nolan Atkins guided the Bulldogs to four state championships between 1978 and 1986.

It&8217;s a six game tour. Win six and get a sixth championship.

Sweet Water comes into the game tomorrow ranked No. 2 and posting a 7-1 record, including seven straight wins. Their only blemish is their loss to 4A No. 3 ranked Thomasville on the first game of the season.

First on the map is the Millry Wildcats. Millry eased into the playoff picture by the result of Frisco City being eliminated from the tourney. &8220;It&8217;s unfortunate for them,&8221; said Terry Taylor, head coach of Millry, &8220;especially the kids. I&8217;m sorry for them.&8221;

Millry closed the season with a 4-5 overall record. They tied with Marengo with a 4-3 regional record, but Marengo got the edge by beating the Wildcats last month. Millry enter the post season with lots of experience. This is their 10th straight season they have qualified for the playoffs.

The &8216;Dawgs&8217; have had little problems moving the ball all season. Their biggest weapons have been the running of Anthony Landrum and Dominick Holt, and the leadership of quarterback Drew Luker.

Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. tomorrow at Victory Stadium in Sweet Water.
