player of the week: Anthony Landrum Sweet Water

Sweet Water Bulldog junior Anthony Landrum rushed for 142 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s championship game against the Cedar Bluff Tigers.

Sweet Water shut Cedar Bluff out 48-0 and earned their sixth state championship. Landrum also intercepted a pass from his linebacker position has two championships under his belt.

In addition he was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the 1A finals.

The 6-1, 200 lb. running back has been the workhorse for the Bulldog offense all season and has made more than 50 starts in his high school carreer.

His favorite class is Applied Biology. He’s looking forward to attending Alabama or Southern Mississippi upon graduating from high school.
