David and Lara Wallace of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Nicole Wallace of Hartselle to Justin Lucas Barnes.

He is the son of Larry and Judy Barnes of Demopolis.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. on May 19, 2007, at First United Methodist in Hartselle.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of James and the late Helen Glasscock of Cullman.

She is the graduate of Hartselle High School and Auburn University. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Project Uplift, Grace Campus Ministries, Kappa Delta Phi and the Honor Society.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James Richard and Mary Ballard of Nicholsville and Lawrence and Joyce Barnes of Demopolis.

He is a graduate of Demopolis High School and University of Alabama in Huntsville.

He was a member of UAH Baseball, and is in the Detroit Tiger Minor League.

He is employed by Forest Pharmaceauticals.
