Mr. and Mrs. Timmy David McClendon of Greensboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Rebekah McClendon to William Donald Crawford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Franklin Crawford of Northport. The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. on June 16, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kenneth Stewart Barton and the late Mr. Kenneth Stewart Barton of Greensboro and Mrs. Julius David McClendon of Marion and the late Mr. Julius David McClendon of Talladega.

Audrey is a 2003 honor graduate of Southern Academy and attended the University of West Alabama where she received a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

She was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society and secretary of Blue Key Honor Society.

She was also a Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, and a director for the Campus Activities Board.

Audrey was a member of the UWA cheerleading squad for four years.

She was chosen as the University of West Alabama Homecoming Queen and Miss UWA.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray Walker and the late Mrs. Mable Walker of Northport and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Edward Howard and the late Mr. Frank Crawford of Chipley, Fla.

He is a 2001 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and attended Faulkner State Community College, where he received his Associated Degree and the University of West Alabama, where he received a degree in Business Management.

He was a member of the Faulkner State Community College and the University of West Alabama Baseball teams.

He is employed by the University of West Alabama.
