The Bulldogs of Sweet Water put on another impressive display of dominance by destroying the Sunshine Tigers 64-0.

The Bulldogs amassed 446 total yards, all on the ground, while holding the Tigers to negative 16 yards and only two first downs for the game.

The game started badly for the Tigers, as the Bulldogs blocked their first punt attempt, and Demaraquis Williams ran it in for the first score of the night. Johnnie Lockett was the second Bulldog to score when he scampered in from 24 yards out. The PAT was no good, but the Bulldogs held a 13-0 lead.

The second quarter, however, yielded a lot more scoring as the Bulldogs started the rout. Anthony Landrum got things started with a 54-yard blast through the middle of the Tiger defense. Once again, the Tigers had problems on special teams and yielded a safety on another blocked punt, making the score 23-0.

Anthony Landrum once again found his way through the Tiger defense, this time from 45 yards out, making the score 30-0. Again, the Bulldogs called Landrum&8217;s number, and he barreled in from 48 yards out, leaving the score at 37-0 at the half.

The second half started similar to the first. Anthony Landrum added to his 202 yard first half by breaking a 28-yard run to pay dirt. The score now stood at 44-0.

Cordaryl Curtis broke a 43-yard run to set up Chris Landrum for a 4-yard touchdown run, making the score 51-0. Curtis would find the end zone himself his next run, scampering 28 yards to the end zone. The score now stood at 58 -0.

Freshman running back Jeremy Landrum would end the scoring on a 43-yard run, leaving the final score 64-0. Coach Luker said that he was proud of how his team came out and kept their intensity. He said the young guys played hard, and the starters showed some real maturity.

Coach Jonathan Jenkins, of the Sunshine Tigers, said that he is glad to have the toughest part of his schedule over.

The Bulldogs will welcome the Linden Patriots next week, in what is being billed as a big game. The Patriots are headed by previous Bulldog defensive coordinator Andro Williams and are undefeated.
