PINSON &8212; Thomas Jefferson Sullivan Jr., 79, of Pinson died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. Services will held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 at Holy Infant of Praque Catholic Church with visitation held from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church with the Rev. Bill Lucas officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville is directing.

Graveside services are set for 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct.10, 2007, at Laurel Cemetery in Shiloh with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis directing.

Sullivan was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, where he attended the University of Alabama. He served in the Army during WWII and the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Rotary Club as well as the Knights of Columbus.

He was also a board member of the Covenant Bank and founder of Precision Machining for 20 years.

His first wife, Clara Hinson Sullivan, precedes him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Weber Corn Sullivan, of Pinson; two sons, Thomas Michael Sullivan, of Springville and Edward Lynn Sullivan, of Gardendale; two step-daughters, Susan Beard, of Center Point and Lisa Fontanette, of Clay; one brother, David Sullivan, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
