SWEET WATER &8212; Jane Alice Etheredge, 76, of Sweet Water, died Nov. 4, 2007, at USA Medical Center in Mobile. Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. on Nov. 6, 2007, with the Revs. Percy Clarke and James Nichols officiating. Interment was at the Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water. O&8217; Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville was in charge of the arrangements.

Etheredge was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Selma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Etheredge.

She is survived by one son, Andy W. Etheredge and wife, Mary, of Sweet Water; one brother, Morgan Flowers, of Sweet Water; one grandson, Orlando Wayne Etheredge, of Sweet Water; one niece, Shelia A. Flowers, of West Germany; one nephew, Danny M. Flowers, of Sweet Water.

The active pallbearers were Joe Etheredge, Regan Daniels, Tommy Ware, James Tensley, Bill Blakeney and Mark Etheridge.

The honorary pallbearers were The Ladies Sunday School Class at Aimwell Baptist Church and the Sweet Water High School class 1949.
