HELENA &045; Mary Elsie Clinton Tubbs, 95, of Helena, died Dec. 10, 2007 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services were held Dec. 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Boone officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family received friends Dec. 12, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Kirk Funeral homes Marion Chapel.

She was born June 6, 1912 in Perry County to Tildon and Mary Rutherford Clinton.

She is survived by her daughters, Ada Jean Holifield, of Marion; and Norma Elkins, of Helena; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Trouble Moody, Steve Adams, Jimmy Dill, Earl Giddiens, Zachary Dill and Forrest Dill.
