GREENSBORO &045; John Thaddeus May, Sr., 84, died Dec. 28, 2007 at his home in Greensboro. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Greensboro Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Greensboro Cemetery. The Rev. Dean Rydbeck will be officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at their home, &8220;Blue Shadows&8221; tonight 5-7 p.m.

He was a TWA Airline Captain served in the Army Air Corp from 1941-1945 survived by his wife Janet Ruth May of Greensboro, 4 daughters Roxanne Brown Wilda and husband, Randy, of Grand Rapids, MI, Melissa Dew Lemmon and husband, David, of Lawrence, KS, Alison Mouliner of Cave Junction, Oregon, Emily Kinnard Gilstrap and husband, Matthew, of Dallas, Texas, one son, John Thaddeus May, Jr. and wife, Mary, of Kansas City, Missouri, one brother Ellery rook May, Jr. and wife, Gilda, of Huntsville, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers are Regan Wilda, Thaddeus May, Christopher Lemmon, Teddy Wilda, Richard Wilda, Jonathan Lemmon, Alec Lemmon, Taylor Lemmon, flag bearer Jensen Lemmon.
