LINDEN &8212; Samuel C. Eaves, 69, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Rangeline Baptist Church with the Revs. Don Smith and Allen Eaves officiating. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis directing services. The family received friends at the church from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Eaves was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel T. Eaves, and Annie Bell H. Eaves; one sister and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Clark Eaves of Linden; two sons, Dannie Eaves and his wife Teresa, of Linden, Richard Eaves and his wife, Lee, of Demopolis; six grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Rutledge and husband, Davis, of Mobile and Mavis Mullins of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Clyde Eaves and wife, Frances, of Macon, Miss., Ike Alvin Eaves of Philadelphia, Miss. and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ronald Wayne Clark, Chris Allen Clark, Gilbert Gregg, Cecil Gregg, Billy Ray Clark, William Eaves and Phillip Eaves.

Honorary pallbearers were employees of Eaves Construction and employees of Hexion Chemical Plant.

The Eaves family will accept flowers or donations may be given to Rangeline Baptist Church, 5805 Co. Rd. 19, Linden, AL, 36748.
