DEMOPOLIS &8212; Leslie Ernest McGilberry, 44, of Demopolis died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Physicians Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors directing services. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. on Friday at the church.

McGilberry was a native and lifelong resident of Demopolis. He was employee of Rock-Tenn Corporation for over 12 years and a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.

McGilberry&8217;s parents, Leslie G. McGilberry and Dorothy Mildred Chiles McGilberry, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Stokes McGilberry, of Demopolis; four sons, James Ernest Daniel McGilberry of Crystal River, Fla., Matthew Corey McGilberry, Robert Gregory Coats Jr. and Kyle Alexander Coats, all of Demopolis; his sister, Susan M. Swanzy and husband, Johnny, of Northport; his brother, Lee McGilberry and wife, Alice, of Forkland, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Byars, Adam McGilberry, Todd McGilberry, Dennis R. Pike, Bruce Gwin and Bud Pruitt.
