DEMOPOLIS &8212; Deacon Dave Fluker Jr., 88, of Demopolis, died Feb. 25, 2008, at the residence of his sister, Malissa Fluker in Demopolis. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the Moscow Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Timothy Page officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

He was the son of the late Dave Fluker Sr. and Carrie Killings-Fluker.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Moscow Baptist Church.

Fluker retired from Gulf States Paper Corporation.

He married Elnora Dixon-Fluker who preceded him in death.

Survivors include five loving children, Jesse Fluker and wife, Charlotte and Ronnie Fluker of Cleveland, Ohio, Tommy Page and wife, Patricia, of Demopolis, Jackie Saulsberry of Birmingham and Patricia Williams of Mobile; three sisters, Malissa Fluker of Demopolis, Thelma Hurst of Detroit, and Ludella Cook of Chicago; one uncle, Henry Fluker of Demopolis; one aunt, Fronnie Williams, of Calif.; one brother-in-law, Thomas Chaney, of Cleveland, Ohio; friend, Alice Brown, of Demopolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
