LINDEN &8212; Clyde R. Hall, 79, of Linden died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Marengo Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, with the Revs. Johnny Tucker and Daniel Gandy officiating. Burial was at the New Octagon Cemetery, in Linden. O&8217;Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden directed.

Hall was born April 30, 1928, in Octagon. He was a former paper mill knife grinder. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son Gene Hall and wife, Annette, of Orrville, two daughters, Rose Houmes and husband, David, of Sarasota, Fla., Sue Sharpe and husband, Mike, of Linden, five grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren. The active pallbearers were Darrell Schroeder, Shaun Lehman, Matthew Houmes, Jamie Sharpe, Michael Hall and Steve Norris.
