BREWTON &8212; Joanna Deer Jones, 78, died Friday, March 7, 2008. Graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery in Brewton. Craver&8217;s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She was a native of Greenville, a resident of Brewton, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She attended college at Virginia Intermont and Auburn University, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority.

Survivors include Frank Earl Jones, her husband of 57 years, three daughters, Anna Ashley Jones Slatton, Joanna Deer Jones Nichol, Sarah &8220;Sally&8221; Curtis Jones Livingston, four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to either the Brewton Public Library or the First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
