The Skinny: Pritchett is the humble, unassuming leader of a surging Longhorn softball team that is making waves in the AISA. When not in the circle, she&8217;s providing stellar defense up the middle from her shortstop position. She also serves as Marengo Academy&8217;s leadoff hitter where she effectively sets the table for an increasingly potent MA offense. Still, it is her pitching that tends overshadow everything else about her well-rounded game. Pritchett absolutely deals every time out. Her solid 7-1-2 record fails to do justice to her performance thus far this season. To date, she has whiffed 64 batters over 41 innings of work. She boasts a 1.95 ERA and has held opponents to a paltry .127 batting average. So while her modest demeanor may not provide any indication of her ability, her game does all the bragging necessary to claim her spot among the top athletes in Marengo County.
